Description

N.B. Campground approx 5 kms from Highway via dirt road, last 500m past gate is steep. After a day paddling and fishing on the beautiful waterways of Clyde River, pull up your kayak at Beach campground and recharge in this tranquil riverside setting, in Clyde River National Park. Beach campground is a secluded camping area on the river. Its a tranquil setting far away from the crowds with a lovely, postcard-perfect beach. Bookings are required. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. There are no camping fees at this campground but a $6 booking fee applies. This site is suitable for tent, swag, and remote/backpack camping and there are 4 camping pads. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecue facilities and toilets. Firewood is not provided and is sparse. Rubbish bins are not available, so please take your rubbish with you when leaving. You're encouraged to bring gas or fuel stoves, especially in summer during the fire season. There is limited mobile reception in this park. Pets and domestic animals (other than certified assistance animals) are not permitted.
