This campground is just a short walk from Florence Falls, which is an amazing place for a swim. We stayed here in December and loved it. Each site has a fire pit and there are heaps of trees. Sun does get through the canopy most of the day, but there's still plenty of shade, especially on the track down into the gorge on the way to the waterfall. The amenities are pretty impressive for a campground in a national park, there are even showers and flushing toilets. We've written a bit more about this place on our blog. Take a look here: https://www.wayandfarer.com/guides/campgrounds/florence-falls-2wd-campground if interested. Cheers, Guy

This campground offers a good variety of site sizes to suit most rigs. We tow a 24ft van , site 14 was fine but be aware the tree is smack in the middle of the site- still able to have awning out and could manage 2 vans if travelling with a friend. The NP is obviously well funded by the number of flushing toilets and showers, plus 2 kitchen camp sinks . It's a short walk to the falls or Buley Rock Holes. It's wet season build up and with rain 2 nights we were not effected as site slopes well and water drains away quickly. Other sites fit for a larger van were 16, 17- narrow with no trees, or 18.

Couldn't find the alleged BBQ's. Must be well hidden? Nice location though.
