Great spot, showers $2 , can have a fire in supplied fire pits, possums come out o& a night, so many kangaroos. Be aware of the road down the mountain to Longford if towing a van, very very steep with hair pin bends slippery when icy

Came in over Easter Saturday at noon and got a plum spot overlooking the lake. Only 3 sites to choose from. Lovely welcome from Caretaker and advice on best spot for our 21.5m van. Quiet campers in this weekend. Dump point driving distance away & wifi at roadhouse down the road which stocks basic provisions if needed. Tap in camp, water probably from dam. Fire braziers provided on most sites or byo. No on ground fires. Clean amenities (coin hot showers) and clean drop toilets. All for $8 / night for 2A.

Really great campground friendly management. We stayed for 2 nights. Will definitely stay longer next time. Nice setting and the price is right

Lap of the bigger island

Great stop in the highlands. We had -1 degrees over night but a fire in the fire pit provided supplied some nice ambiance and warmth.

We stayed two nights last week and Brownie was super friendly.... giving us a big fresh trout. Beautiful spot and the regulars are very welcoming and helpful. Bring your winter gear, it got down to 6 degrees when we were there.
