Horrible high powered transmission lines run along the lake edge.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. Onions and sylvia are generous, friendly and hospitable hosts and made us feel at home among all the anglers...its quite an authentic experience ...lots of old school characters spending quality time around trout heaven! Toilets and showers (hot) were very clean. Was nice to have a fire bucket going that night too.

We stayed at New Year only for one night unfortunately. Everyone was really friendly..there are a few locals. Onion and Sylvia were absolutely lovely hosts. Onion gave us a trout...if you're reading this Onion...it was beautiful!!! Thank you! There is a coin shower and toilet. Enjoyed our short stay!

Great caretakers. "Onions " is the man.Easy spot for Caravans although your hitch will almost be touching the ground when parked. The perm's have the level area, all quite safe . Fish are hard to get Tods Corner at Great Lake recommended. Penstock Lagoon productive for fly fishing.

Nice quiet spot to use as base for day trips or just relaxing. Big powerlines between the camp and the lake though.

Nice place to stay. Lots of friendly wallabies. Quite a few caravans and boat trailers seem to be stored rather than inhabited. Perhaps the owners come at the weekend? But very secure as friendly, attentive, on site caretakers.

Great place and well established as there are 'regulars' who are there each year. Easy to pull in and fishing is excellent!!! Great hosts, too!
