Stayed 1 night in a tent on 27/8/2021. My second time here and I loved it as much as my first. Amenities still spotless, slideshow still great and it's nice to wake under trees. I have some more trips planned to this area and will stay again.

Stayed 2 nights 14/8/21 on the way home. Clean amenities, great showers and close to 1770 & Agnes Water for day trips. You can camp where you like & have your own space for a camp fire. Hosts are friendly & helpful. Mike arranged a walk through the property with his guests and with his background knowledge, was quite interesting. Recommended

Great spot, lots of room and a few bush walks. Mike and his family have done a fantastic job. Lovely hot showers and very clean amenities. Also very interesting talks at night. Thoroughly recommend and will be back

Beautiful spot, cheap considering the lovely amenities and grassy sites. Will stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Sign on bathroom door asking everyone to wash their hands. Pretty hard to as no soap etc supplied. Friend asked Michael why not supplied, he replied don't have with less then 100 guest. NOT COVID FRIENDLY

Very much agree with last review. Checked out all of the caravan parks in town. They are all full and crammed in. So much space at Traveller's Rest. Good areas both sides of dam for larger vans. Nice walks, amenities and hospitality. < 10min drive to Agnes Water. Highly recommend.

Best camp I have ever been, so much culture and forest, I love it, definitely will back!

Great spot! Unpowered sites in the bush anywhere you like, and a few powered sites near facilities and the dam. The amenities are basic but fine. No soap / hand wash anywhere though despite half of Queensland being in Covid lockdown. Easy run to 1770 and Agnes Water. Would recommend highly instead of the crowded places in the towns.

What a great relaxing camp ground! Owners friendly and helpful, good clean amenities, large sites in cleared area or bush setting. Campfires permitted and hire of fire drums available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stop over after our trip back from the reef fishing, Mike the caretaker is lovely. Cheap and clean amenities and option for a campfire too!
