The owners Mike and Mickeala have created an amazing camping environment with clean and modern facilities and a relaxed laid back vibe. It is a great price for the value you get and just a really nice atmosphere. It is not your typical camping ground full of kids, but more suitable for backpackers and small groups. This place stays true to its name of being a travellers rest; it is quiet and comfortable and worth every cent.

Thanks Mike , Great relaxing place ,flat & shady camp area & new clean amenity block , cheers for 2021

Planned 1 nightbhere but stayed three nights ! Amazing place, very clean facilities, and Mike and Michaela are very nice ! So many stars at night. If I'm in the area again would definitely stay here !

Stayed here 2 nights, the owners are lovely and the park had a nice energy to it. The amenities are nice, and the showers were great! No cooking facilities though, and beware of the ants, there's a lot of them! 5 minute drive to Agnes Water, 10 mins to 1770. Good place to stay and not badly priced

Stayed 3 nights. Very clean facilities. Lots of space to camp. Not too far from town. Nice friendly hosts, very interesting slidesow night talk by Mike. If in the area would stay again.

A delightful relaxed place to stay. The toilets and showers are spotless. It is a also super friendly, which is just as important. The short bushwalks through the property are worthwhile. As is the slideshow. I learned a lot about coral blooms and the local history. I'm glad I chose to stay here where it is quiet for my weekend in 1770/Agnes Water. The drive into the towns is quick and easy. But after a day at the beach, it is refreshingly peaceful. And there are lots of stars at night.

A wonderful, friendly bush camp. For those who are tired of busy caravan parks, we highly recommend joining Mike & Michaela at their friendly, sparkling clean camp site. Easily accessible to 1770 & Agnes Water, as well as bush walks, beaches & 4WD tracks, this is a good option

Thanks Mike and family for a wonderful stay. Was up there for a week a few days ago and could not have been more satisfied with the stay. Great new amenities, plenty of space and a lot of like minded people who wanted the same experience. Easy run into town for the beach, walks and everything else you need without the crowds. No question that we will be back again on our next visit to again experience this great spot. Cheers Mike, Nigel and Sue

What a gem! Amazing hosts, spotless and brand-new amenities, a very relaxed and chilled out vibe at a great price, also for the kids!. Very short drive to both Agnes water and 1770 beaches. We saw the park in town where everyone is packed in like sardines. No thanks, I'd rather have my own space and drive for 6 minutes ;-) Mike also did an amazing presentation about the history of the area. You'd be mad to miss this one. Thanks for having us !
