Great value at $12 per site, with grassy spots to camp and new spotless showers and toilets nearby. My only comment is that there is no TV and one bar Optus, but reception can be found by moving around. If that's not a problem, a great place to explore the area with great friendly hosts.

Unique interesting camp to stop at for at least a day or two. Clean facilities ,nice hot showers . The cultural burning they had shows a way to manage the bushfire problem. Slow burn small areas then a week later all vegetation is shooting without major damage as we've seen here and America. Loved the slide shows, learned a lot of interesting facts about the area. Relaxed, not regimented caravan park. Thanks mike and family.

What a fantastic place. 45 acres of natural bush land with a cleared area to camp on. Amazing clean amenities block with 3 toilets and 2 showers each side. Mike, the owner, conducts a slide show each night about nature and the indigenous people. He has a wealth of knowledge. So nice to stay in these peaceful surroundings instead of jammed into the caravan parks in town. Would highly recommend this place.

Yep agree with below, better than staying atcrowded park in a open space with new facilities

It's absolutely worth it to come over here. It's a really nice place. The Owner and his Family are very friendly. The Facilities are new and clean.

We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Mike gives a slide show at 7pm and introduces guests to "country". He spent 2 decades as a ranger in Kakadu and wants to educate people on the bush. It was very interesting seeing the types of bushes, trees, roots and leaves that all make up bush tucker and medicinal treatments throughout the bush. He explained the back burning as mentioned previously saying he employed indigenous people who were experienced in burning off so nothing is out of control or destroyed, just burning to rejuvenate the bush and bring back insects birds and animals. It also makes it safer for us to stay so there won't be a huge out of control fire through the area. I even know how to cook a goanna so dinner at my place Friday

@Making Time 2020: We informed every camper at booking and again on arrival that a cultural burn would be happening on our property that weekend and that smoke will be in the air. It was every campers own choice whether or not they would like to book /stay or not. The cultural burn was an interesting experience for many and will protect our property from raging bush fires in the future.

Loved it . I ended up there by accident due to bad reception . So I arrived spontaneously and Mike was really friendly and the land is beautiful with trees and birds . It couldn't have been better . It had clean showers , and no Rv's with their tv Arial's up .

Lovely hosts but unfortunately we were there when backburning on the property was underway and the whole campground was thick with smoke. It's hard when you can't escape it unlike being in a house where you can shut the windows. I think they should have closed the campground for the weekend or at least forewarned visitors. We ended up spending $34/night to stay in a smoke filled paddock (we are self contained so didn't need amenities). Apart from that the place is nice enough.

Nice spot, cheap and great host in Mike. Amazing amenities all new and the option to camp where you wish. Not far from town so good place to park up for a night or two.
