Great campsite, Clean amenities and Lovely hosts. Good spot to base yourself to go and explore 1770 and Agnes Water. Only stayed one night, but could easily have stayed more!

We stayed here for 9 days while we explored the area. Very hard place to leave . Such a great place to base yourself and see the local area. Great camping area with excellent amenities. Mike puts on a slide show most nights with very informative and interesting information. Highly recommend staying here. Very friendly and helpful . Don't drive past , stop in and stay a while .

I stayed here for 3 nights. Mike put on a slide show about the local history with a very interesting commentary. A lovely clean and spacious camp and great value only $12 per person.

great affordable spacious camp to base yourself 10 mins from town. Spotlessly clean flush toilets and hot showers. Especially good value for singles as adults are $12 per night ($24 for a couple). Beach CP's charge $43-$50 for a spot in a sardine tin. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I went for a week and stayed three. Agnes Water/1770 is Queensland's best kept secret - don't tell anyone!

Was planning on staying here just 1 night and after only being here for a few hours we have decided to stay 3 Mike the owner is so welcoming and friendly. He gives a free presentation every night which is awesome 5 different ones so a new topic each night, on the history and culture of the area, bush medicine, local environment etc. The amenities block is top notch, beautifully clean and new, hot showers and flushing toilets. The property is peaceful and spacious, excellent value and close to the main part of town aprox 10 min drive max.

Called in here by mistake as we had booked elsewhere. (Husband error!). Would have stayed had we not needed power. Mike came to greet us and after finding we were in the wrong place, he couldn't have been more helpful. Gave us a map of local area and very helpful with directions. Good on you Mike much appreciated, Looked clean and tidy and very restful, will come back when in the area
