Beautiful spot, toilet not so beautiful but it'll do. Lovely to listen to the crashing waves at night. Kids loved playing in the sand dunes. Plenty of space to spread out and plenty of places to turn around with a caravan. We chose of spot a bit lower and back from the dunes amongst the bushes, very protected from the wind.

Beautiful spot.. first day/ night wasn't too windy, but the second night it howled all night long

Absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful. There are signs in town to point you in the right direction. A short dirt road to get here. A lot of spots to choose from. Port Neill is just up the road, and had the cheapest fuel in the Peninsula, a great little general store and an awesome pub with great meals. Highly recommend.

Pristine beach. Good overnight spot. Super windy during night. Only 3 other vans

Great free camp just out of town. Thanks Port Neill! No problems accessing with semi off road 22ft van.

Heading back out and the general store in Port Neill has a Liberty pump and sells both Diesel and unleaded at by far the cheapest around -$1.40 per litre. They also do a good cappuccino ;-)

Wouldn't recommend unless you have 4wd and of road van, very corrugated and not much in the way of level areas but the beach and views are awesome

It's (the equivalent of?) a marine national park. The description that jumped to mind was "raw beauty". There are numerous dirt roads throughout an extended area running along the ocean so park anywhere basically. The wind does come in from the sea so it's a bit tricky to find a calm'ish spot. Lots of space and lots of places to turn a caravan around so you don't need to worry about being trapped on a dead end. Drop toilet looks antique Australian Dunny - but no flies or smell - amazing. Take your own toilet paper.

Great Freecamp on beautiful stretch of beach. Old Style drop toilet clean, bins & plenty of space. Camped just behind dunes. Lovely little town, cheap fuel, clean toilets, thank you Port Neill!

A bit dusty. A few scorpions around camp. Great snorkeling around the rocks and beautiful swimming beach. The drop toilet is a genuine long drop not a bio-toilet. Very close to Port Neill for potable water, cold outdoor shower and jetty for swimming and fishing. The general store is one of the best we've seen in a small town and reasonably priced.
